Connect Phone questions

Is it a real softphone or a call-back?

A real softphone. Audio runs over a secure connection to your own Amazon Connect instance — not a call-back to the agent's mobile number — and contacts ring natively on a locked phone.

What does it cost?

The app is free to download. Licensing is per agent via the ProUCX portal: Basic from US$10/agent/month (min 5), Medium US$15/agent/month, Advanced POA.

How do agents sign in?

Your admin configures the workspace in the portal and shares a one-time workspace code. Agents install, enter the code once, then sign in with their Connect login or SAML SSO.

Do agents get Amazon Q in Connect?

Yes, optionally — Q knowledge and suggestions appear beside the live call.

Which devices?

iPhone, via the App Store. Connect Phone is a companion app for organisations already running Amazon Connect.
